Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

• The focus will be on programme management and reporting.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to optimize resource allocation.

• Manage on-site teams and liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.

• Monitor progress, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Duties:

• Lead planning, scheduling, reporting, and execution on various infrastructure development programmes

• Conduct site inspections for the purpose of rendering technical advice.

• Contract Management

• Ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Registered with SACPCMP as a professional construction project manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, construction management or quantity surveying

• 3 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure development-related projects.

• Proven ability to lead on-site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Strong skills in planning, reporting, and project coordination.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.

• Experience in Project and Programme Management.
